HVCA - Specialist Hygiene Services Ltd are a member of the Heating and Ventilation Contractors Association who produce TR/19, Guidance to Good Practice Internal Cleanliness of Ventilation Systems. We have a board level member attending the routine HVCA ventilation hygiene group meetings.
ISO 14001 - A certificate to certify the environmental management system ISO 14001:2004 registered within the BM Trada certification scheme.
CHAS - Specialist Hygiene Services Ltd are an accredited member of CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) having demonstrated compliance with sound health and safety principles.
ISO 14001:2004 - Specialist Hygiene Services Ltd have passed the accreditation for the UKAS Management system ISO standard.
Specialist Hygiene Services Ltd have been accessed for health and safety standards and procedures under the SAFE contractor scheme. Please note SHS in the standard renewal phase of SAFE contractor awaiting evaluation. Still a paid up and on website.
BM Trada - Specialist Hygiene Services Ltd has undergone assessment and inspection via the UKAS accredited body BMTrada reviewing health and safety, company procedures and documentation. This forms part of the HVCA membership requirement and is carried out external auditors.
A+D COSHH - Specialist Hygiene Services Ltd Managers are trained instructors in the use and application of chemicals having attended a course run by A+D suppliers.
HVCA Vent Hygiene - Train the Trainer. Specialist Hygiene Services Ltd have a trained manager in providing training for cleaning of kitchen grease extract systems as part of the HVCAs Train the Trainer scheme.
RSPH or BICs - Senior Managers and Directors within Specialist Hygiene Services are either members or associate qualified members of schemes run by either BICs (British Institute of Cleaning Sciences) or RSPH (Royal Society of Public Health).

Many of the team members are now certified trained in Safety Harness and roof working courses run by LTC training services.
Certificate of training and instruction in the professional cleaning and maintenance of woven and tufted carpets, rugs and soft floor coverings with industry approved cleaning methods run by Prochem.
Key staff are holders of the First Aid at work certification by St John Ambulance.
